Step Africa at TPAC

Join us as we visit Tennessee Performing Arts Center to see Step Africa! If you've ever seen a step show, you know how fun they are to watch.

This show introduces audiences to stepping through both a traditional and contemporary lens. Step Afrika! blends percussive dance styles practiced by historically African American fraternities and sororities; traditional African dances; and an array of contemporary dance and art forms into a cohesive, compelling artistic experience. Performances are much more than dance shows; they integrate songs, storytelling, humor, and audience participation. The blend of technique, agility, and pure energy makes each performance unique and leaves the audience with their hearts pounding.

TPAC asks for a final count VERY early. Please sign up by DECEMBER 27 (I know...it's early). Please specify how many student vs adult tickets you are purchasing as we'll need a list of every adult attending before we go for safety purposed. Also, they will not seat our group until everyone has arrived so we will ask that everyone be there are full 30 minutes early.

*I need one adult volunteer to be the group leader for this trip. You'll need to get to TPAC by 9:45AM. In return you'll receive one hour of volunteer credit. Email me for info!
