HS Entrepreneurship
Turn ideas into something real. In this classroom, students won’t just learn about business- they will create one. This hands-on, student-driven course puts each student in the role of an entrepreneur as they explore how today’s most innovative startups begin.
The course is built around dynamic, interactive hands-on lessons packed with engaging activities emphasizing real-world strategies, digital tools, and collaborative experiences. Students take ownership of learning: pitch ideas, gather feedback, and build confidence in decision-making. Plus, they will strengthen “soft skills” that colleges and employers value, including communication, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving.
Whether a student dreams of launching their own company or just wants to think more innovatively, this class will give them the tools, mindset, and experience to make it happen. BONUS: This class will culminate with an opportunity for students to practice pitches in a friendly but engaging “shark-tank style” competition!
*Doodling & Illustration (6th-12th)*
Does your student love to doodle all over his/her school papers and binders? We will be drawing (and sometimes painting) intentional designs inspired by scriptures and quotes. Your student will end up with some frame-worthy pieces of art! All skill levels welcome.
Biblical Hebrew
Share

With nearly 75% of the Bible originally written in Hebrew, this course helps bring new clarity to familiar passages. By the end of the semester, students may not be fluent, but they will have a stronger understanding and appreciation of the text—wrestling with questions like What is the “Valley of the Shadow of Death”? and Why does God have many names, and what do they mean? These are some common themes we will explore this Fall in Biblical Hebrew!
*Woodworking 6th-12th*
This class is an invitation to create—to turn wood, through
patience and hard work, into something useful and beautiful. Using classic hand tools and simple materials, students will learn the fundamentals of woodworking as they craft practical projects. Along the way, they’ll discover the deep satisfaction of making with their own hands and gain the confidence to keep building long after the semester ends.
