White Water Rafting

Calling all high school students! Celebrate the end of the school year with this thrilling day of white water rafting on the Ocoee River. 

Car will need to leave by 9AM (let's carpool!!!) to start the 3 hour drive down to Ocoee. Once at Quest Expeditions there is time to grab some lunch -- either a packaged lunch or purchase food at their Apricot Cafe -- before checking in for their rafting trip at 2PM Eastern (1PM Central). 

Students will raft the middle Ocoee River which is 5 miles of class III/IV whitewater and features 17 major rapids. On the river you will experience rushing rapids, big waves, beautiful scenery, a swimming spot and lots of fun. Your journey rafting down river will take approx. 2 hours.

$38.50 per person for rafting | Please pack a lunch or bring $$ to purchase lunch and possible dinner on the drive home

• Bathing suit, shorts and t-shirt. Long or short-sleeve T-shirts are REQUIRED on the river. No tank tops, bathing suit tops or bare chests allowed.
• Shoes are required on the river. Tennis shoes, water shoes or Teva type sandals. NO FLIP-FLOPS OR SHOES WITHOUT BACKS.
• Sunscreen
• Eyeglass retainer (available for purchase at our outpost store)
• Towel
• Dry clothes and shoes for after trip
• Plastic bag for wet items
• Cool weather- wool or synthetic top and socks (NO COTTON). Note we provide splash jackets and pants on cool days at no additional cost.
• PLEASE LEAVE YOUR EXPENSIVE JEWELRY AT HOME.
• We do have river shoes ($14.95), eyeglass retainers ($3.65-$9.95), and water proof phone cases ($14.95) for sale in our gift shop. Prices subject to change without notice.
• Suggested gratuity: 15-20% of your trip price

**I would love to have parents carpool for this and take as many students per car as possible! Vine will NOT be providing transportation. Parents, you are welcome to sign up to raft as well. No students under the age of 12 can raft and they must be at least 60 lds.
